I made this leather bracelet/cuff from leather scraps I found at the thrift store. It’s a combination of 4 different types of leather. First, I taped the whole thing together and then I just stitched it by hand and put a gold snap on it. I must admit it was my husband’s idea and he helped me with the design. I have couple more in the works so stay tuned for more. If you like the idea you can find similar pieces here or get some ideas from my previous post.

I found this little black Cynthia Rowely dress at a second hand store in Chicago. I love the puffy sleeves. They completely transform a common looking black dress to a fab looking black dress creating a silhouette that is soft yet dramatic. I usually accessorize this dress with a leopard belt or in this case with a green one that I also got at a second hand store.

I got this gold butterfly necklace several years ago at Zales. I love the intricate, detailed design of this piece and the combination of gold, diamonds and quartz – one of my favorite semi precious gemstones.

The woman in the picture is my mom. I wish she didn’t get rid off that amazing fur she’s wearing.
